However, the Silverado HD's sales have been declining, so things have not been looking
More individuals are purchasing the light-duty Silverado model,
according to a recent study from the General Motors Authority. Positive increase was shown
both the second quarter and year-to-date of 2023 when compared to the same time in 2022.
Only 88,544 Silverado LD vehicles have been sold by Chevrolet as of the second quarter of 2022.
Still, the business sold 4,460 additional units by the second quarter of 2023.
The gap between Q2 2022 and Q2 2023 sales shows a 5% rise.
In terms of year-to-date sales figures, the LD variant has also been selling well, selling 169,561
units in 2022 as opposed to 180,115 units that Chevrolet was able to sell in 2023.
The Silverado LD sales differential of almost 10,000 units suggests a 6.2% rise in sales from YTD 2022
