A GM TechLink notice states that some 2023 and 2024 Chevy Silverado vehicles may have

heated seat switch indication lights, even if the seats and switches are operational.

Right now, there isn't a remedy for the issue, but GM is working on one, 

so more information should be forthcoming.GM has found that even when the heated

seat feature is turned on and operating, the indicator lights on the heated seat switch in certain Chevy Silverado

 Three switch indication lights are present on impacted cars; one, two, or all of the lights may not be working.

According to the article outlining the problem, it will look that the heated seat feature

 for the front seats is broken if the lights don't turn on. Actually, however, the switches continue 

 to work properly, and pressing them will cause the front seats to heat up normally.
