Diesel engine for the Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500.

However, is this engine worth the price and how dependable is it?

There are certain changes to the second generation of Duramax Diesel engines. 

With pleasure, Chevrolet revealed that the new Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel engine produces 

10% more horsepower and 7.6% more torque. It has a torque of 495 lb-ft and 305 horsepower

From the 2022 model, which produced 277 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque,

, there has been a rise of 28 horsepower and 35 lb-ft of torque.

GMC provided some further information, stating that the updated features

included enhanced temperature management capabilities, a redesigned turbo

compressor, new fuel injectors, and a new steel piston design.
