Based on a number of criteria, the Full Size 3/4-Ton and Full-Size 1-Ton Pickup categories 

the 2024 Lowest CPO Cost To Own In America Award went to the Chevy Silverado HD. 

This decision was made by automotive data and cost analysis business Vincentric.

The award states that the Chevy Silverado HD surpasses three rival models

 with the 2500 HD having lower ownership costs by $1,623 and the 3500 HD having

lower expenses by $2,338 when compared to the "nearest competitor."Eight criteria are used 

 calculate a vehicle's cost of ownership for the Awards: "depreciation, insurance, repairs, 

maintenance (scheduled and unscheduled), financing, fuel, taxes and state fees, and opportunity costs."

Next, the models are divided into two groups and evaluated from Poor to Excellent

In the category of "Cost To Own," or the objective cost as determined by calculating the data supplied

 in May of this year. GM had originally estimated the vehicle's range to be 400 miles.
