The 2023 12 Hours of Sebring saw the No. 3 Corvette C8.R display significant

 struck in the final parts of the event, ending Corvette Racing's otherwise fantastic performance.

The No. 3 C8.R began the race from the pole position, driven by Tommy Milner, Jordan Taylor,

 and Antonio Garcia working together. But, a caution period was triggered just

and Garcia's No. 3 Corvette was unable to finish its initial stop before Pit Road was closed. 

. The team was forced to stop again for five seconds of emergency fuel as a consequence, t

, then once stop Road opened, they had to pit again for full service.

The Corvette Racing squad finished the race unscathed, although when leading, Milner decided 

stop to fix a problem with the left rear damper, costing him a lap. Before Garcia took t

t, Taylor assumed control and led the No. 3 C8.R to the yellow flag, allowing it to recoup the lost lap.

At that point, catastrophe hit. On a restart, the No. 3 Corvette Racing vehicle was hit in the back,

knocking the C8.R out of the lead and sending it tumbling into sixth position.
