The 1960s and early 1970s were the heyday of muscle cars

The Detroit Big Three put several versions of V8-powered muscle machines on the roads, 

only a few survived beyond the 1970s. The Chevy Camaro is one of the survivors.

The pedigree of this iconic car dates back to 1966 when it was sold for the 1967 model yea

 the first official model year for the Camaro. Although the Camaro only sold half 

the Mustang sold that first year, a muscle car rivalry was born and continues today.

It seems a bit strange, but the Camaro enjoys a good reputation for reliability.
