The Fiat 500e electric city vehicle is making a comeback to the US market for the 2024 model year

after a five-year break. It has a completely new platform, a slightly larger body

a new design that is still very much influenced by the original 500 from the late 1950s.

Fiat had intended to introduce the 2024 500e U.S.-spec model at the 2023 Los Angeles Auto Show,

parent company Stellantis abruptly withdrew from the event in order to save expenses during the UAW strike.

That won't, however, change when the new Fiat 500e will make its American debut.

Fiat has not yet disclosed the compact EV's features or price,

although it was revealed last year that it will be on sale in the United States in early 2024.

Thankfully, the starting MSRP leaked, revealing that the Fiat 500e will be priced from $32,500 excluding

This will make it one of the most affordable EVs on sale in the U.S.

CarsDirect has found the price in recent order guide data, and what's surprising i

that the new 500e will actually be some $700 more affordable than its predecessor
